The master bedroom features honed/polished concrete floors, low VOC paint, blue jean sound attenuating insulation, energy star ceiling fan, and bamboo cabinetry in the walk in closet, as well as the built in dresser and desk furniture. The windows are designed to take advantage of ambient northern light, as well as frame the view to the mountains as seen from an 'in bed' or 'at desk' view point. The windows also provide passive cooling opportunities as they open to shaded areas of the design through the use of exterior fins. |
